Ecopolity » Will the G20 help Cancun to succeed?
“We reaffirm our resolute commitment to fight climate change, as reflected in the Leaders’ Seoul Summit Document. We appreciate President Felipe Calderón’s briefing on the status of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change negotiations, as well as Prime Minister Meles Zenawi’s briefing on the report of the High-Level Advisory Group on Climate Change Financing submitted to the UN Secretary-General. We will spare no effort to reach a balanced and successful outcome in Cancun.”

Why those against G-20
Left wing is a critical, progressive, left-leaning and pro-human discussion forum. The countries represented by the G20 represent the elites, not the marginalized communities in their countries. Of course I include Canada in that statement. Policies the G20 "leaders" support are in no way good for humans, or the planet. I need to tell you that there will be little to no support for your position here, and possibly a lot of arguing. I wonder if this is the right discussion board for you.
